About the Company
Pyou, an international brand of the Lavoropiù Group, an Italian company specialized in Human Resources, is recruiting an Operations Director – Poultry Farms for a multinational company in the industrial agri-food sector, located in Aldeamayor de San Martín, Valladolid.
We are looking for a senior management profile with proven experience in the comprehensive management of poultry farms and process optimization, capable of leading teams and ensuring operational efficiency in a rural environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing all farm operations, coordinating site managers, veterinarians, and work teams, ensuring proper animal management, administrative processes, and certifications, while promoting the company’s values.
About the Job
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of all production facilities under their responsibility.
- Manage and lead work teams, including managerial, technical, and operational staff.
- Apply knowledge of animal handling, public administrative procedures, certifications, and farm management.
- Optimize operational processes and ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across all operations.
- Coordinate improvement or expansion projects of facilities together with suppliers and internal teams.
About the Candidate
- Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in farm management or agri-food production environments, preferably in the poultry sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulations applicable to the poultry sector: animal welfare, food safety, certifications, administrative requirements, and occupational risk prevention (PRL).
- Experience in managing and leading multidisciplinary teams in operational environments, with the ability to coordinate managers, technicians, and field staff.
- Ability to manage operations in demanding environments, including handling incidents and operational emergencies.
- Strong communication, teamwork, influence, and ability to convey corporate values.
- High organizational skills, decision-making ability, and stress management in dynamic environments.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
