At Pyou, we are looking for a Civil Engineer interested in bringing their experience and continuing to develop their professional career within a construction company specializing in public works in Catalonia.
We are looking for a professional with experience in the production and execution of civil works to lead an urban development project in Barcelona.
About the Job
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of urban development and civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with established deadlines, costs, and objectives.
- Lead construction production activities, coordinating the human, technical, and material resources required for the successful development of the project.
- Supervise all execution phases, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, applicable regulations, and quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor the financial performance of the project, controlling costs, certifications, and budget deviations.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and work teams, ensuring proper planning and execution of activities.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and organizational issues arising during the development of the project.
- Prepare progress reports and regularly report the project’s progress to the Project Management team.
About the Candidate
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering with a specialization in Roads, Canals and Ports, or Public Works Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil works and road construction, preferably in public works projects.
- Solid knowledge of construction management, planning, cost control, and team coordination.
- Leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Spanish required; knowledge of Catalan would be considered an advantage.
