At Pyou, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer / Mechatronics Technician for an important Italian industrial company specializing in closure, cap orientation and feeding systems for high-tech packaging lines, mainly serving the food, beverage, wine and spirits, personal care, and pharmaceutical sectors.
The successful candidate will be a mechanical-electrical assembly technician capable of carrying out assembly, commissioning, testing, and routine and corrective maintenance activities on packaging line machinery (typically capping systems), not only in a production environment at the plant, but also through installation, technical assistance, and field service activities directly at customer sites.
About the Job
- Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assembly of industrial packaging machinery, mainly capping and closure feeding systems.
- Commissioning and validation of equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and on-site technical support.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of installed machinery.
- Mechanical and electronic adjustments to optimize equipment performance.
- Interpretation of mechanical drawings and electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Carrying out technical interventions at customer sites throughout Spain and Portugal.
- Providing direct technical support to customers throughout the entire equipment lifecycle.
- Preparing technical service and intervention reports.
- Collaborating with engineering, production, and after-sales teams to support continuous product improvement.
- Participating in technical training and supporting knowledge transfer both internally and externally.
About the Candidate
- Technical degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a machine assembly technician in an industrial environment, preferably working with automated machinery.
- Good knowledge of mechanical technical drawings and the ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Willingness and availability to travel throughout the Iberian Peninsula and occasionally abroad.
- Availability to complete an initial training period on our products at our headquarters in Italy, potentially for up to 3 months, as well as attending periodic training courses.
- Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English are essential.
- Strong customer-service orientation, autonomy, and problem-solving skills in the field.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in industrial and multicultural environments.
