At Lavoropiù, we are always striving to enhance the work and capture its rhythm in all its forms. As we enter 2023, we are excited to continue our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. We have several initiatives planned that align with our values and reflect our ongoing efforts to make a positive impact.
HR mobility
One of our main focuses this year is on HR mobility. In Italy, there is a structural mismatch between the demand and supply of skilled labour, particularly in technical specializations. Some areas have high demand for work, but a shortage of workers, while other areas have an abundance of labour but limited job opportunities. That’s why we’ve launched a series of activities to promote territorial mobility and extend recruitment opportunities nationwide. Our team of specialists in Bari is dedicated to attracting the best candidates from across Italy and helping them relocate to new areas for work. We offer comprehensive assistance throughout the recruitment and employment process, including travel reimbursements, training courses to acquire the necessary skills, and support with practical tasks such as finding housing and transportation.
Lavoropiù4Welcome
Another initiative we are proud to support is Lavoropiù4Welcome, which aims to promote social and economic inclusion for refugees. We offer information, orientation, and skills assessments, as well as Italian language courses, professional training programs, and job placements with local companies. Our goal is to help refugees achieve economic autonomy and become active members of their new communities, while also benefiting local economies and promoting social cohesion.
Environmental sustainability
In addition to these initiatives, we are committed to environmental sustainability. We’ve planted 600 trees across five different countries in Africa and South America, which will capture 101,500 kg of CO2, equivalent to 787,000 basketballs. We’ve also eliminated the use of single-use plastic in all our offices, increased the number of electric and hybrid vehicles in our fleet, and reduced paper consumption by favouring digital formats and recycled materials.
Partnerships
Finally, we are excited to continue our partnership with the Fondazione Lucio Dalla and C.O.R. with a new educational project called “La poetica di Lucio Dalla e i nuovi Anna e Marco.” This initiative aims to introduce students to the life and music of Lucio Dalla, one of Italy’s most beloved singer-songwriters. Through a series of guided visits to the Museo Civico Archeologico and writing workshops, students will explore Dalla’s legacy and create their own visions for the future.
